NSW Top Tour Guide Awards

Now in its second year, the NSW Top Tour Guide Awards continue to celebrate the state’s most inspiring guides—the people who transform great trips into unforgettable experiences. From vibrant city streets to remote natural landscapes, these guides embody the heart and soul of New South Wales tourism. They are the storytellers, cultural custodians and connectors who bring our state to life for visitors every single day.

The awards form a key part of the NSW Tourism Association’s commitment to lifting industry standards and supporting the professional growth of guides across the state. The program continues to elevate the guiding profession and enhance the visitor experience across NSW.

This program is about more than celebrating excellence—it’s about recognising and supporting the passionate people who make tourism in New South Wales truly thrive.

• Nominations Open: Thursday 11 December 2025
• Nominations Close: Friday 10 April 2026
• Submissions Close: Wednesday 13 May
• Interviews Conducted: W/C 1 June (online)
• Finalists Announced: Tuesday 23 June
• Winners Announced: Wednesday 22 July at Top Tour Guide Awards event 
• Australian Top Tour Guide Winners Announced: Early September, Parliament House, Canberra

Nomination Fee:

• $350 + GST per entry or $262.50 + GST NSW Tourism Association Members rate
• Nomination fees should be paid at time of nomination and are required to proceed into the awards program

All submissions must be completed via the Quality Tourism Framework portal.
