NSW Tourism Awards Committee and Judges

Ron has enjoyed 54 years of successful and rewarding experience in the co-ordination, supervision and marketing of varied programs in the global travel and special event industries.

This includes 15 years as a guide and tour director for a number of international travel corporations, 4 years as the Director of Sales and Marketing for a Sydney hotel, and 20 years as the principal for two organisations involved in tourism marketing and special events. 

He has just retired from a 20 year tourism teaching program which ran concurrently with his other business interests.  

 In the 1990's Ron had significant involvement in the development and administration of the inaugural Regional and NSW Tourism Awards, and he has been involved in the awards programs in some capacity since then. Ron looks forward to assisting entrants, his fellow judges and the organisers, in making the most of the opportunities the Awards process offers.
